Gallbladder Diseases and Gallstones
Gallbladder diseases
Gallstones pain is a common condition and the pain can be an annoying pain on the upper right side of the abdomen that starts gradually, gets worse and then settle a little to starting back the same cycle again.
Sometimes it can be a constant moderate to severe pain at the same area of the belly.
There can be associated nausea, vomiting, or fever. In some instances yellowing of the eyes or skin with pale colored stool and coca colored urine can be noticed- this happens when it gets complicated.
Once gallstones pain is suspected and confirmed, it is time to take out the gallbladder before more complications occur.
Treatment is surgical and it is through a pin hole incision also known as laparoscopic surgery with resultant little or no down time.
